Publication: Citrus County Chronicle Citation Details: Obituary Date of entry in original source: 25 September 2013 Text: Nancy Sullivan, 76, of Inverness passed away suddenly on September 23, 2013, in Inverness surrounded by friends and family. She found her truest happiness in serving others, as she was doing at the time of her accident. She was a fabulous cook, wonderful friend, and remarkable mother. She was born May 27, 1937, to the late John Daniel Sullivan and Nellie Zell Sullivan in Tampa, Florida. She moved to Citrus County in 1966 where she raised her family. She retired after more than thirty years as the office manager of Citrus Title Insurance Company in Inverness. She leaves behind her partner, Paul Richey, four children, Denis Watkins of Vidalia, GA, Michael Watkins of Crystal River, David Watkins of Brooksville and Susan Sullivan of Inverness, as well as ten grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren, a brother, John Sullivan (Mary) of Inverness, and two brothers-in-law, Gene Coxwell and Sam DiGuglielmo, both of Inverness. She was pre-deceased by her sister Alice Jean DiGuglielmo. Among countless friends left behind are her dear friend, Patricia Thomas and her "sister" Alida Langley. A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 AM, Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of memorial donations to the Mt. Carmel Methodist Church, 8004 S. Florida Ave., Floral City, FL 34436, to help Nancy fulfill her dream of seeing the new roof project completed.
